Ben-Adam is general term for all thepeople or for a man.
For a woman the term is "bat-Hava" (beith-tav hei-vav-vav-hei).
Both nouns come from Adam and Eve's names.

Other possibility is "Ysh/a" (aleph-yod-shin/hei) man/woman.
