Explanation:
Il verbo amar esiste in spagnolo, ma è difficile che si dica "te amo", si usa in letteratura,si trova in testi di canzoni, ma nel linguaggio corrente si usa il "te quiero" che è usato anche dal bambino che si rivolge alla mamma, quindi non rimanda necessariamente a una relazione d'amore. Pertanto sono certa la traduzione corretta è quella che ho indicato.

Explanation:
Io credo che questa sia la frase fatta più usata in italiano per esprimere molto amore alla persona amata. Se invece si tratta di altro contesto (amicizia, affetto familiare), opterei per "ti voglio tanto bene".
