Mediante dos placas unisentido o rectificadoras se canalizan los incrementos de presión provenientes de los motores hacia una válvula limitadora, que se encarga de amortiguar las oscilaciones del conjunto spreader-carga.

Se dispone una electroválvula de centro abierto para permitir el libre paso del flujo que es restringido por una ***válvula estranguladora*** de poco caudal y que actúa en la maniobra de aproximación del spreader a la carga.
