Nära skjuter ingen hare - A miss is as good as a mile. Meaning that if something is almost finished, accomplished etc. it does not mean that it is completely finished, accomplished etc.
När fyllan går in går vettet ut - When the wine is in, the wit is out. Ale in, wit out. Meaning that when you've had too much to drink you don't know what you're saying or doing.
