'oddset' is simply the definite form of the imported English plural word 'odds' (plural, definite form: 'oddsen') which has become "singularized" as 'oddset'

The ending '-et' is one of two endings for the definite form of the gender neuter (NEUTRUM).
Swedish also has a second neuter called
REALGENUS with the singular definite form ending '-en' (e.g. 'boken' of 'bok' (book))
