Swedish term or phrase: lappövning
Sample sentence: De verktyg som vi använder mest i benchlearning är: lappövning (i alla kreative möten under alla steg)...
It's where you ask people to write things on bits of paper and pin them on a board, choose from them and discuss them. What would you call a 'lapp' in the formal sense, please, given that this is a business book?

Thanks, all. I said 'note' for 'lapp', and I think 'brainstorming' is probably appropriate for the term I quoted.

agree  George Hopkins: Could also be slip or tag, ie, notes.

agree  Peter Linton: These days they would almost certainly use Post-it notes. We certainly called it "brainstorming," sometimes also "blue sky thinking."
