"För OTC derivativ, fastställs marknadsvärde enlight följande ... - **emittentpris**, avstämt mot ytterligare en källa."

We're determining the value of fund assets here, this is the third method stated for OTC derivatives -- and I could not find a single hit for this term... I found emittent, but in German! I'd like some ideas or discussion, and is this really a Swe word?

This became apparent after doing the reading based on the search Norskpro suggested. I was thrown a curveball (or spinner) when my first search found 0 hits!

You are 100 % correct, the issuer of a note sets the price continuously. The reason that I suggested that they may mean 'emissionskurs' was that the ongoing pricing of notes is not normally referred to as 'emittentpris'. In Swedish you would probably say something like 'emittentens köp- och säljkurser'.

This is the current price of the instrument as quoted by the issuer, not the original price like an emissionskurs. Issuers act like market makers in the derivatives market, they don't just issue an instrument and then forget about it, they have an ongoing responsibility for pricing etc. So I would write "price from the issuer" or "price quoted by the issuer" here.

It's good that my suggestion was helpful, as this is really not my area, but in Swedish, and Norwegian, words are often lumped together in one term and it helps sometimes to separate them.

'derivat' and 'enligt' were my misspellings! Issuer price is where I was headed, and thanks for the discussion and confirmation. 'emittentpris' did sound strange and this text has involved other 'interesting' term usage--several authors who did not agree on their terms.
But that google can't do the same search for 'emittent' as its does fo 'pris för emittent' is an interesting phenomenon! Thanks Norskpro for the hint. How do I award points?

Is the first part of the sentence from the actual source text? It should be 'OTC-derivat' and 'enligt'.

'Emittentpris' sounds very strange to me. I'm thinking that they might mean the 'emissionskurs', which is set by the issuer (emittent). That's only a wild guess, though.

This really isn't my field of expertise at all. But just checking my two economic/financial dictionaries, I find "emittent" as "issuer". Would "issuer price" make sense here? I haven't yet checked the collocation on Google.
