Swedish term or phrase: kommer i tide
In a 1917 letter from Malmö, the writer discusses the various shortages of foodstuffs in Sweden at that time: "Smörransonen varierar.

I'm unsure what the phrase "kommer i tide" means here...

From the context. There isn't enough butter, so you better arrive/be there on time to get your ration.
