transportprotein Explanation: är den term jag hört (av mina iof något Anglofierade föreläsare) Tryptofan binder Albumin (vanligt protein i blodet) när det transporteras runt i blodet. Tryptofanet är alltså inte fritt i blodet, utan mer eller mindre bundet till Albumin.
