Swedish term or phrase: fallställen
Genom att vi har många olika stålsorter inom företaget och framförallt många olika fallställen, så är det väldigt lätt hänt att vi sorterar returstålet fel med anledning av analys och form.

Explanation:
In the Swedish steel recycling industry it seems that perhaps the term "fallplats" may be a little more common than "fallställe". It is simply the "point of origin" of the steel to be recycled. I will provide some Swedish and English references.

The most important step in protecting the value of your scrap is keeping track of it from the point of origin in your plant to your recycler's yard.
Too often, fabricators let shipping dock workers get rid of their scrap. If they can't or don't grade your scrap accurately, they really don't know what's in the containers, so it's likely to be downgraded, and you get minimum revenue.
