Swedish term or phrase: turplaceringsdatum
What is a turplaceringsdatum ? Isn't it similar to ancieniteten (seniority)? But perhaps in the contexty of HR matters in the rail transport sector, it has a more specific meaning?

seniority date
Explanation:
Found a definition:
A seniority date is a date on which the calculation of a person's length of seniority with the enterprise or a legal employer is based. In most cases, seniority dates are the same as start or hire dates; however, using separate seniority dates you can manage them independent of start or hire dates. You manage hire and seniority dates using the Manage Seniority Dates task in the Person Management work area.

And in Swedish at https://klubb119.files.wordpress.com/2008/01/kollektivavtal_... -- see § 19 Placeringsordning

The Swedish definition is more complicated since it is a specific use where people are shifting employers while remaining at the same 'job' -- that is where SL hires service providers to run their public transport (say, bus drivers, train personnel, etc.) The winning bidder takes over the entire operation, including employees who then do the same job, but for a different employer. Swe unions didn't like this but have adapted to the added paperwork with these kinds of rules.

BTW ancieniteten? I get a bunch of hits in Danish, but it doesn't seem very common even there. Never heard of it in Swe.
