Thanks for the answer. There does not appear to be a clear US equivalent: Non-social hours, Differential hours. It seems to depend on where you work.

I think it should be OB-ersättning. OB is an abbreviation for Obekvämt - in other words extra pay for time that someone works in the evenings, on weekends or holidays. This generally does not apply to freelance translators, however! 0:)

Explanation:
This was a new word for me. But if this is to British English, it is definitely correct. Don't use it if it is going into US English. It would be incomprehensible to most Americans. (On par with the British term "knocking up voters", which has a radically different meaning in the States...)
