Swedish term or phrase: Parallelfirma
Lydelsen av aktiebolagets firma på främmande språk. This is the "definition" that appeared in the source document beside "Parallelfirma". I need the proper US English term: parallel firm?
David Rumsey
English translation:"Other registered company name"
Explanation:
As far as I know, "firm" is only a synonym for "company" in English, so I am sure "Parallel firm" is wrong. Judging from your context, the meaning of "firma" in formal Swedish is the same as in obsolete/formal Danish and German, namely: registered company name. So the meaning is "Other (or parallel)registered company name".
I don't know if there is a "proper" English term - but I hope this helps.

The best of luck!
