Swedish to English translations [Non-PRO] Bus/Financial - Business/Commerce (general) / tax checking on tenderers
Swedish term or phrase:handels- och föreningsregister
Can't seem to find a translation for this (in my version of Gullberg, they're given separately). Anyone know if there's an 'official' translation of this, please?
Explanation: I don't think there is a similar entity in the UK. In Scotland - and I think the rest of UK, when you start up a business as a Ltd company/partnership/soletrader or plc etc, or if you wish to register your business name, you deal with 'Companies House' - if you are an association, Club etc, you might want to register as a Charity for tax reasons:
Depending on the sentence you might want to say something like: ... officially registered as a company or charitable organisation.
