I didn\'t realise \'mandelpotatis\' was a type of potato. In Denmark we sometimes see croquettes of creamed potato (type unspecified) rolled in flaked almonds before frying, and I assumed these were what was meant.

agree  Peter Linton (X): I think you have to say something like "so-called almond" potato, because they are not known outside Sweden, and "almond potato" makes no sense to people unfortunate enough never to have tasted this delicacy.
