Swedish to English translations [PRO] Law/Patents - Law: Contract(s) / Music Industry
Swedish term or phrase:från förfördelad
I händelse av brott mot publicerings- och tävlingsregler, förorsakat av upphovsman, kontrakterad artist eller representant för dessa, ska den eller de av dessa som brutit mot reglerna ensam eller gemensamt – allt efter var och ens delaktighet – svara för eventuella krav från förfördelad, samt hålla (xxx) skadeslös
Trying to compact the sentence into English, far too long and too many commas!
Thank you all, would you agree with this - "In the event of a post-participation publishing and/or contest rules breach by the author, contracted artist or representative, the party or parties responsible for the breach will be accountable for any claims FROM THE INJURED PARTY as well as indemnifying xxx" - have I left any of the source text out? - i thought for "ska den eller de av dessa som brutit mot reglerna ensam eller gemensamt" , party or parties would suffice to convey the idea of one or more people.....any thoughts? Thank you all in advance!
