Swedish to English translations [Non-PRO] Medical
Swedish term or phrase:revorm
similiar or like ring worm but not exactly ring worm (ringorm?).
In swedish, sounds like revorm. hope spelling is correct. cortizone did not cure. want to know name of cream I received but unfortunatly left it behind when packing for my trip. hope to get help so I can possibly by same cream over the counter in the USA
Explanation: "Ringworm", a disease of the skin caused by a threadlike fungi, is, for unknown reasons, in the Swedish language of today called "revorm" in humans and "ringorm" in animals. 50 years it was called "ringorm" in humans too. "Ringorm" and "revorm" involve the same specie of fungus and is consequently transferable between man and beast. Cortizone does not cure. Fungicides do.
