Well the word SEVEL is known in english by COCK and the default meaning of KOZHI is the female chicken ie HEN. Sorry for the inadevertent MISTAKE.

kulang can be a received pronunciation if pronounced fast by a native speaker.
and it means POND in english.

kullam means SHORT.

There is no word as such kulm in tamil.
