pid podosku
Manny
English translation:Під подушку - to put under a pillow
Explanation:
It sounds like "pid podushku" - "to put something under a pillow". It also may mean "to put aside", to make something oneself for oneself - for ex., to write poetry without any hope to have it published someday.

Explanation:
I completely agree with the translation offered by argat - there's no other, in fact. But the interpretation - I'm not sure the phrase can be used in the meaning 'do smth for oneself'. Guess it's rather straightforward.
Good luck!
