Un cenno di risposta... Jan 27, 2014

Forse sono troppo all'antica.

On why some words still appear in English on a localized version Jan 27, 2014

Hi again,

I wanted to take this opportunity to explain why some words or phrases may appear in English on an already localized page. Some of the content of the site is not static, some information is updated and even new content is added to some pages. Localization teams can only localize the content which has been made localizable by developers, so it may be the case that the content on a page was made localizable at a given point and later the same page was modified and new conten

Hi again,

Localization teams can only localize the content which has been made localizable by developers, so it may be the case that the content on a page was made localizable at a given point and later the same page was modified and new content was added which was not in turn added to the localization interface. So this is why the localization team members have no way of adding the translation of the term until the new strings are added to the localization interface.

Also, if anyone would like to propose better translations for the terms you are referring to, you are welcome to do so here or via the support system.

Best regards,
Romina

ProZ.com localization teams work hard to localize the site Jan 27, 2014

I also wanted to highlight the fact that ProZ.com localization teams work hard to localize the site, and this task is not always as easy as it looks on the outside. For now there are no new strings to localize into Italian but it is likely that new content will be added in the future so if anyone is willing to contribute to the localization of the site into your language you are welcome to express your willingness to help via the support system a... Interfaccia inglese Jan 27, 2014

Io ho sempre e solo usato l'interfaccia in Inglese, quella in Italiano mi è sempre sembrata molto ingessata.

Buona settimana.

I don't think this is the case Jan 27, 2014

I think that everything can be fixed and I don't why in my personal page I can see some words in English and some in Italian. Is it so difficult to fix it?

Localization is an ongoing process Jan 27, 2014

Dear Chiara,

Yes, it can be "fixed". These strings are not localizable yet (they are not in the localization interface yet) but they will be added in the future. When this new content is added the team will localize it.

Best regards,
Romina

Il team esiste (e risponde) Jan 28, 2014

Ciao a tutti,

Ciao a tutti,
Ciao!

Buonasera a tutti,

Buonasera a tutti,
Ci stanno tante informazioni...

Buon "filo" e buone "poste" a tutti.
Sapete dove trovarci!

Davide

Davide
