A week ago I would have said 'no' but my kids who are witnesses tell an altogether different story ... so I'll go with 'sometimes'

When a script doesn't respond on a webpage, thus freezing everything or when there's a browser problem. All negative, I know, but such is life. On the funny side, my computer "knows" that I'm happy with its performance.

Have a happy, laughing weekend.

I do shout and swear at it sometimes if it apparently does something that I did not want it to do - i.e. if I inadvertently press the wrong key, and something unexpected happens on the screen.

I don’t have speech recognition software but I do talk to my computer. I must confess that I have a disturbing tendency to talk to everything that doesn’t work the way I want, be it computer, printer, coffee machine, vacuum cleaner, you name it!

Only to swear at it Sep 27, 2014

As soon as I say "sh*t" the dog wakes up and leaves the room. Smart dog.

This question made me laugh.
(I do sometimes, especially when things go really bad/well)

I talk to myself. It's possible that the computer could overhear what I say.

I first wanted to answer "no", but then I switched to "rarely" and from there eventually to "sometimes" because I remembered that when it is too slow or does things that I did not want to I do talk to "it". Unfortunately, this usually doesn't make it faster.

as others have said it's usually to shout at it when things are going wrong or plead with it to work properly. (and my dog must be thick because she doesn't leave the room:-))

Yes ... and sometimes it answers ... Sep 27, 2014

Yes, sometimes I tick it off with "Don't KEEP DOING THAT!" or something of the sort and occasionally it answers me in a bright and annoyingly cheerful tone "Your Avast virus database has been updated!"
Worrying, isn't it?
