My specialty is translation from German into American English.
My specialized subject area is literature.

I have translated two large (250 and 500-page) novels, as well as tourism
brochures/site maps, interview script, Powerpoint slide presentations, Excel files, internal memos and news articles; on a wide range of subjects. I've also proofread extensively, although usually on a
volunteer basis. Literature is my specialty, as is translation into American English.
I generally charge 11-12 cents $US per word, depending on
the size and complexity of a prospective contract. Charges for proofreading
are at or below five cents $US per word. ALL CHARGES ARE NEGOTIABLE; I'm also open to using different pricing systems.

I offer express services, as well as a free
sample translation on prospective contracts.
