Since my graduation from Alexandria university, faculty of Education, English department, in 1972, I've been involved in both teaching English for high school students and translation. I participated with Dr Al-Beheiry,owner of a translation centre, in translating many books for postgraduate students who were doing doctorate thesis. So I got much experience in that field. I also translated political books, the most famous book is 'Nasserism', about President Gamal Abdel Nasser's life and doctorine.
Nowadays I'm retired from Ministry of Education but still an active member in the field of translation. An active member in the Egyptian Translators Association and a member in the WATA association for Translators.
