I am a freelance German and English instructor and freelance translator. I have living and working experience in Germany and in the USA.

After being trained as a foreign language secretary (German, English, Spanish, French), I worked as a foreign language secretary and translator. In addition, I studied translation (English, German, Spanish; coursework in French and Italian, interpreting and film translation) at the Johannes Gutenberg-University Mainz-School of Applied Linguistics and Cultural Studies, Germersheim, Germany and have an M.A. in Translation from Kent State University, OH, U.S.A., and an M.A. in Germanic Languages from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, NC, U.S.A.
