My name is Ali Azeriah. I hild an MA degree in Translation and Linguistics from the University of Bath, UK, and a Ph.D degree from SUNY-Binghamton, NY. USA. I began my professional career as a high school English teacher. Then in 1983, I joined the Department of Anglo-Saxon Studies as a Maitre Assistant at the School of HUmanities, Mohammed V University, Rabat, where I taught language-oriented courses and translation (Arabic-English; English-Arabic). When the King Fahd Advanced School of Translation (the first of its kind in the Arab world) was set up, I joined it as a translation instructor, I post which I am currently hold. I worked as a translator in a number of conferences, and am now one of the translation expeerts for the Rabat-based Islamic Cultural, Educational and Scientific Organization (ISESCO).
