Bio
I am seeking part-time, occasional opportunities to provide Korean-English-Korean translation in legal, medical and other technical areas. I was born and received BA in English Literature in Korea and MS in Computer Science at Kansas State University. I am fluent in English and have broad business and management experience in oil and gas industry.

After retiring, I have been working as an interpreter for many hospitals (MD Anderson Cancer Center, Texas Children's Hospital, Baylor College of Medicine, Memorial Hermann Hospital, etc.), the US Federal Government (Homeland Security Department -ICE, FBI), Houston courts, Hewlett Packett business meetings (IT related), document/web page translations, etc.

My hourly rate for consecutive interpreting job is $45 to $65/hour (USD), and the translation job is $.17 (USD) per English word. I normally translate 5 to 10 pages/day.
