I hold a university degree in Business Administration. I have over seven
years of experience with private clients and three years of experience as an
independent contractor with two different agencies. Prior to providing
translation services full time, I worked as an executive assistant for three
different multinational corporations, which include Brink’s Global Logistics
Solutions’ subsidiary in Venezuela, Mitsubishi Corporation and GX Technology –
ION Geophysical.

While at Brink’s, I worked as the assistant of the Chief
Financial Officer (CFO). I provided direct administrative support to the CFO
and indirect support to the CFO reporting areas, including the exchange of correspondence
in English and Spanish with headquarters.


Additionally, after 5 years at Brink’s, I was given
additional responsibilities; I was tasked with the translation of several
financial reports such as P&L statements, balance sheets, corporate
policies and procedures, internal audit reports as well as independent
auditors’ reports, the GM monthly report and the minutes of the board of directors’
meetings of the company. In order to fulfill said task I was given the opportunity to work
alongside the in-house translator at Brink’s, a certified public translator and
interpreter with more than 30 years of experience. Eventually, we partnered-up and
took on several private projects.


I eventually expanded to working part-time as an
independent translator while working at Brink’s, before eventually
transitioning to work as a full-time translator on a full-time basis.


The knowledge gained and skills I acquired through my
work experiences have enhanced my skills as a professional translator in the
corporate sector, including working with clients in the field of Finance, Financial
Planning, Internal Control, Accounting and HR as well as corporate policies and
procedures.

I follow
industry standards and only translate into my native language. My daily output
is 1000 words per day for technical texts and 2000 words for general content
texts.

I am currently
available to work remotely on a full-time basis. My translation services to
date have included health and social services, finance, law (civil & mercantile)
and trade contents. I currently use MemoQ as a Computer Assisted Translation
(CAT) software and I am well versed with the XTRF Translation Projects
Management & Automation management tool. I am also willing to learn and
work using other CAT tools.
