Bio
I grew up in Canada where I received all my formal education although I as born in Heidelberg, Germany. My family emigrated to Canada in 1952, when I was very little. Am fully bilingual in both German and English and consider both languages my mother tongue.

I have been involved with interpreting since I was a young girl, accompanying my grandmother, who spoke no English, to the grocery store. Our family spoke many languages at home, e.g. Estonian, Russian, German. My skills in Estonian are passable, my Russian is almost non-existent.

I have always been interested in reading, so being a translator is the perfect occupation for me. After so many years of experience, I work fairly quickly. Depending on the subject matter, I have done 20K in a week.

Other interests are: animals, the Arts, travelling. My partner and I live on a farm where we raise horses.
