English to Spanish (Supreme Court of the Province of Buenos Aires, Arg) English to Spanish (Universidad Nacional de La Plata (Facultad de Humanidades y Ciencias de la Educación))
My name is María Julia Raverta. I am a Sworn Translator graduated from the National University of La Plata, Argentina. My formal training includes scientific, technical, literary and legal translations. Also, I have specialized in creative, marketing materials as well as Spanish copywriting.
My first experiences as a translator includes translations of books in Argentina and articles for international journals, all related to the fields of medicine and social sciences (see C.V.), and general legal certificates (sworn or certified translations), such as marriage, birth or death certificate, both in English and Spanish.
For the last 5 years, I have worked as a senior translator and editor for a U.S. based translation agency. Thanks to this experience, I got to know the demands of this industry not only in terms of quality and turnaround times, but also regarding team work understanding and coordination.
I work with CAT tools and can be reached online most of the time.
I provide efficient, detailed-oriented linguistic services even under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
I hope we can work together sometime. I am confident you will be pleased with my work.
