I am professional, hardworking and reliable English to Polish, Polish to English Freelance Translator specializing in technical and scientific translations. My mother tongue is Polish, but for the last 8 years I have been living in England. The first 6 years I was employed as a QA Manager and one of my main responsibilities included writing technical documents and procedures. Therefore, I was translating the knowledge I gained in Poland into English. Because I have a genuine affinity for the written word in 2004 I enrolled on the Diploma in Translation course at City University. Furthermore, I am armed with the latest language technology, Trados 6.5 software, which helps me to maintain consistent quality, find the most appropriate terminology and accelerate translation speed enabling me to translate between 1800 and 2000 words per day.
