Source text - Spanish Toda disputa relacionada con el presente contrato será sometida al juicio de un solo árbitro a ser designado por escrito por las partes que no estuviesen conformes, y si las partes no pueden acordar la designación de un solo árbitro, al juicio de dos árbitros, uno a ser designado por cada una de las partes, dentro de un mes natural de haber sido requerido a nombrar su árbitro por la otra parte. En caso de desacuerdo entre los árbitros, el caso será sometido a un tercer árbitro a designar por los dos árbitros, por escrito, antes de emprender sus tareas. El tercer árbitro trabajará con los dos primeros y presidirá sus reuniones y su decisión será condición previa a todo derecho de acciión contra los Aseguradores. Si los Aseguradores niegan responsabilidad en relación con cualquier siniestro bajo el presente seguro y tal decisión no ha sido sometida a arbitraje de acuerdo con la presente cláusula dentro de doce meses a partir de la comunicación de la negación de responsabilidad, a todos los efectos se considerará que la reclamación ha sido abandonada y no será indemnizable bajo el presente seguro. Este período de limitación no disminuirá los derechos legales del Asegurado.
Translation - English Any dispute related to this contract will be submitted to the judgment of one single arbitrator to be designated in writing by the parties who were not in agreement, and if the parties cannot agree on the designation of one single arbitrator, then to the judgment of two arbitrators, one to be designated by each of the parties, within one calendar month of having been required to name their arbitrator by the other party. In case of a disagreement between the arbitrators, the case will be submitted to a third arbitrator to be designated by the two arbitrators, in writing, before undertaking their duties. The third arbitrator will work with the first two and will preside over their meetings and his decision will be a prerequisite to any right to action against the Insurers. If the Insurers deny responsibility with relation to any claim under this insurance and such decision has not been submitted to arbitrage in accordance with this clause within twelve months of the communication of negation of responsibility, for all intensive purposes it will be considered that the claim has been abandoned and will not be compensable under this insurance. This statute of limitations will not diminish the legal rights of the Policyholder.

I was raised in Puerto Rico, the United States, and Israel, speaking fluent Spanish, English, French, and Hebrew. I have accumulated 23+ years of experience translating, editing, proofreading, and performing transcription and layout work. I possess a Bachelor of Science in Biology with minors in Arabic, French, and Spanish. I then attended the University of Oxford on a Rhodes Scholarship, where I obtained a Master of Studies in Historical Research in 2009, and then a Master of Science in Biology (Integrative Bioscience) in 2010, with a focus on genetics. I then obtained a Master of Science in Environmental Planning and Management from Johns Hopkins University in 2014, and a DPhil in Zoology from the University of Oxford in 2020.
