Translation of Brazilian Energy Market Operator Annual Report
Several pages of a PDF document that had to be extracted into editable content so that WordFast could take it on. Very technical jargon used by the author, not to mention the somewhat esotheric register that had to be rendered into a simpler, more direct style for English readers. A great primer and trainer, though.

Fire-and-forget [...] simply means that the user [...] merely has to fire it, and then can forget about it and it will still correctly strike the target.
From the Wikipedia article on "fire-and-forget" missiles.
This is my stance on handling such sensitive work as translation of legal, business and financial texts. I feel strongly about the role of quality in the translation industry and personally strive to always deliver the highest standards in my work. I aim for near-final translations in order to afford clients with better consistency and reduced translation lead time. This is what I call a "fire-and-forget" approach to translation work.
When entrusting sensitive information to the care of others, make sure you employ the right asset to get the work done, the way you need it done and at the time you need it done. If you need your document, contract or any other material to ring right and natural in the minds of your clients, public or audience, I can assist you in bridging the language gap and convey just the message you want.
I also offer business-standard interpreting (consecutive only). Subject to availability, I will also travel to do assignments in Brazil and also overseas if necessary.
Feel free to contact me for pricing and quotes. I offer to deliver in time, with quality and at a fair price, no more, no less.
