I have an extensive background in journalism and marketing. I have been doing informal interpreting since I been in the United States.
I am a native Spanish speaker and my working languages are Spanish and English. I also speak some Italian, which I am trying to improve.
Recently I have received professional training as Community Interpreter, given by the Multicultural Community Service, in Washington DC., a nonprofit organization.
This intense training (70 hours) gave me the skills and necessary knowledge to assist members of the local community in issues related to Health, Education, Labor, Judicial, Immigration and Social Services.
