I decided to move from the UK to France in 2005 and I have not looked back since.

In July 2008 I set up my own business 'SOS ENGLISH', initially it was set up to help out other English speaking people wishing to move to France. Having been there myself I understood how notouriously difficult French administration can be, even more so when you don't speak French! I quickly became inundated with demands from non French speaking clients - "I need to rent a house"? "How do I set up a bank account"? "I can't speak French how can I do this and that"... alors the birth of 'SOS ENGLISH'!

As I live in the countryside I've also managed to capture the local market for private English lessons as the nearest city is almost 50 kms away. Shortly after starting private tuition I was contacted by the local education authority and consequently started teaching English in local primary schools.

The first year of SOS ENGLISH has certainly been a good one and I can only hope that it continues!

Les services proposés sont de deux catégories :
1. Cours d’Anglais pour tous les niveaux et tous publics (aide aux devoirs, préparation aux examens, acquisition de méthodologie de travail, préparations aux oraux, préparation aux concours/entretiens et remises à niveaux pour le travail et loisirs).
2. Assistance Administrative aux étrangers – pour aider les personnes notamment ceux qui ne parlent pas le Français pour leurs affaires administratives et leurs vies quotidiennes (rédaction de courriers et dossiers, appels téléphoniques et traduction orale entre interlocuteur…).
