Source text - English During the 1951 and 1952, American troops faced a tiring war they were not ready to fight. They simply did not have the right instruments. The fifth mistake Washington made had to do with its soldiers’ equipment. First the Americans weapons were always broken because of the weather conditions. The winter season was really bad and the ice damaged heavy artillery. Unfortunately, the Unified Command did not provide new arms so soldiers could not defend themselves. In addition, they did not have the necessary personal equipment. Their clothes were not warm enough; they were freezing and dying from the cold. The majority of the time they did not even has enough food supplies. They fought for months on the front lines without the possibility of being replaced.

Il quinto errore di Washington fu quello dell’equipaggiamento dei suoi soldati.
