Mother tongue English, fluent in technical German, brewing, malting, process engineering, no formal qualifications but fluent. I worked in industry in Germany as part of my degree course (see below) where my command of technical German improved sigificantly. Can offer the the advantage of flexibility rather than ingrained from being taught formally. Familiar with nuances of German and Austrian.

Have been in the brewing/process industries for some 20 years dealing with suppliers from Germany whilst with my tenure with a major brewing group in the UK. The department I was in had to liase with suppliers and other breweries in Germany so clear and concise communication was essential.

Worked in Germany for about 6 month's, communication was smooth.

Can offer experience and knowledge in food and drink process engineering, quality control and quality auditing, practical experience in comissioning new plant and equipment.

Short term contract with automotive engineering consultants, project orientated assignments covering production control and project planning.

Short term contract with firm manufacturing army and helicopter serveillance infra-red monitoring cameras. Production and inventory control.

I have a BSc Industrial Engineering from Hatfield Polytechnic, Hertforshire, UK, a multidiscipliary course, project management, and management science plus manufacturing theory and practice reflected by industrial placements in the UK and Germany.
