Translator and editor of German historical material and German history articles, Washington, DC 1996–2006.

Researcher and Translator of materials relationg to an agreement between the German Government and the German tobacco industry for a Washingtonian lobbying firm, July 2002.

Researcher for a Professor of History at the Woodrow Wilson Institute for Visiting Scholars. Worked with German, Latin and Italian medieval sources at the Library of Congress and translated and summarized extracts from these sources into English, Washington, DC 1997–98

Translator of Das Gesetz der kleinen Zahlen: Eine mathematische Abhandlung von 1898 from German into English, Washington, DC, 1996.

Copy-Editor of the German translation of the sociological study by William Foote Whyte, Street Corner Society and translator of its introduction/methodical part, Augsburg, 1994.

Interpreter at the Augsburg Documentary Film Festival. Did voice-over for the American documentary films of director Les Blanc and was his personal interpreter at the Filmfest, Augsburg, Germany, summer 1990.
