Source text - Korean 제14조(재활용의무율) ①환경부장관은 전기․전자제품의 재활용의무자의 전기․전자제품의 출고량, 폐전기․전자제품의 분리수거량(「자원의 절약과 재활용촉진에 관한 법률」 제13조제2항의 규정에 의하여 시ㆍ도지사가 공표하는 재활용가능자원의 분리수거량을 포함한다), 재활용실적 및 재활용여건 등을 고려하여 제13조의 규정에 의한 전기․전자제품의 연간 출고량 중 재활용하여야 하는 양의 비율(이하 “재활용의무율”이라 한다)을 고시하여야 한다.
②전기․전자제품의 재활용의무자가 제1항의 규정에 따른 재활용의무율에 따라 재활용하여야 하는 양(이하 “재활용의무량”이라 한다)의 산출기준은 출고량 등을 고려하여 대통령령으로 정한다.
Translation - English 14. Mandatory Recycling Rate
(1) The Minister of Environment shall publish the rate (volume based) to be recycled (hereinafter called “Mandatory Recycling Rate”) calculated from the yearly production volume as per article 13, based on the yearly production volume, the amount of recyclable Electrical/Electronics Products collected by the separate collection of recyclable trashes for scrapped Electrical/Electronics Products (includes the amount of separate collection of recyclable resources as published by the Mayors or governers as per article 13, paragraph 2 of ), past performance records of recycling, and conditions of recycling, related with the particular Producers Responsible for Recycling of Electrical/Electronics Products.
(2) The criteria for calculating the volume of products to be recycled by Producers Responsible for Recycling of Electrical/Electronics Products (hereinafter “Mandatory Recycling Volume”) to satisfy the Mandatory Recycling Rate as per paragraph 1 of this article, shall be defined by presidential decrees, based on yearly production volume, etc.
