As well as a passion for language (I'm fluent in Welsh, having been educated through the medium of Welsh up to university, can get by in rusty Polish and am currently learning Italian), I also enjoy designing and building databases. I'm comfortable with the MS Office suite of programs, as well as Photoshop and Premiere Pro. I use Trados tools, in particular Workbench and TagEditor.

In my free time I love cooking and reading history, fiction and biographies (current books are: Jan Critchett's history of the early settler period of south-western Victoria, A Distant Field of Murder; Bill Bryson's Shakespeare and Haruki Murakami's latest collection of short stories, 東京奇譚集).
