I have a unique advantage over other translators in that I have been familiar with Latin, Germanic and Asian languages from a very young age. I was born and raised in New York City, so naturally I speak English perfectly. But the first language that I learned from my parents was Korean. It is a language that I have not forgotten despite having grown up in the United States. But that is not the only language that was spoken at home. Before coming to the United States, my parents lived in Argentina, where they received most of their primary and secondary education. As a result, they both speak Spanish and Korean fluently. So from a very young age I was already speaking Korean, Spanish and English. The exposure to Spanish helped me to learn French very easily. Although I cannot say that I speak French perfectly, I can confidently say that I am more than capable of translating documents between French and English with absolute accuracy and precision.
