Source text - English Christians will celebrate Christmas a little more quietly this year. Pakistan today is known for the most dreaded terrorist networks and for being a land of intolerance. Few in the outside world may know that more than 3 million Christians and other religious minorities live peacefully in this majority Muslim country. Christians are the largest religious minority in Pakistan, comprising about 2 percent of the population. Religious minorities live in almost every corner of Pakistan, even the volatile northwestern parts and tribal regions
Translation - Urdu عیسائی اس سال کرسمس کچھ زیادہ ہی خاموشی سے منائیں گےآج پاکستان انتہائی خوفناک دہشت گرد تنظیموں اور عدم رواداری کی سر زمین کے طور پر جانا جاتا ہے۔ بیرونی دنیا میں کم ہی لوگ اس بات سے واقف ہوں گے کہ اس مسلم اکثریتی ملک میں 30 لاکھ سے زائد عیسائی اور دیگر اقلیتی مذاہب کے پیروکار امن و آشتی سے زندگی بسر کر رہے ہیں۔ عیسائی پاکستان میں سب سے بڑی مذہبی اقلیت ہیں جو ملک کی آبادی کے تقریباً 2 فیصد حصے پر مشتمل ہیں۔ مذہبی اقلیتیں پاکستان کے تقریباً سب ہی علاقوں میں آباد ہیں جن میں ملک کے پر آشوب شمال مغربی سرحدی اور قبائلی علاقے بھی شامل ہیں۔
English to Urdu: کہانی
Source text - English Khana-e-Khuda - this is another story. Before coming here, my aged mother lived with my younger brother. There, the Sikh temple was adjoined to the house; so, without fail, she would go to the temple to prostrate [pray] after having her bath, but before breakfast.
Translation - Urdu خانہء خدا'، یہ ایک اور کہانی۔ میرے یہاں آنے سے پہلے، میری ضعیف ماں میرے چھوٹے بھائی کے پاس رہا کرتی تھی۔ وہاں گردوارہ گھر کے ساتھـ ہی لگا ہوا تھا، سو نہا دھو کے، ناشتہ کرنے سے پہلے بلا ناغہ متھا ٹیکنے گردوارے چلی جاتی۔
