CV/Resume My detailed curriculum vitae/resume is available upon request.
I studied German at the University of Oxford, graduating with First Class Honours and Distinction in the Colloquial Use of German. I taught at Oxford, and was awarded a DPhil in Modern German Literature. I gained an Honours Degree (2,1) in Microelectronic Systems and Mathematics at Oxford Polytechnic. I then worked as a Research Fellow in underwater signal analysis for the Ministry of Defence, UK, at University of Southampton. I was awarded a PhD in Ship Science, University of Southampton. I lectured in Marine Electronics at Southampton University and then Audio and Music Technology and Mathematics at Anglia Polytechnic University, Cambridge. I founded my own Microelectronic Systems design company and I have co-authored patents on a machine for detecting disease in sugar beet and another one for sorting potatoes. I trained as a concert pianist at The Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, Glasgow. I have been studying Vietnamese for more than five years. I studied Mandarin Chinese and Vietnamese at S. O. A. S., University of London, 2007 - 2008. Recently I composed and performed a piano score for the silent film Von morgens bis mitternachts (1921). I became a certified Marine Electronics Installer with the National Marine Electronics Association, USA, in 2011. I passed UK City and Guilds 2377-200 Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment in 2011. Recently, I have designed and developed innovative microelectronic products.
