Bio
Originally trained as an editor for an English culture and lifestyle magazine in Tokyo, I gradually shifted toward the translation business and am now mainly working as a freelancer translating culture (art, design, music, etc.) related Japanese texts into English or German.
Clients include cultural institutions and facilities such as museums, galleries and schools/universities; publishing companies; magazines, websites, and other publications/media.
As some of my clients specialize in very cutting-edge types of "art", I am increasingly focusing also on technical aspects, including robotics and other technologies used in cultural/artistic projects involving interaction and communication.
Keywords: Art, media, communication, culture, music, popular, technology, performance, design, fashion, graphic, photography, printing, film, cinema, dance, editing, english, german, japanese, translation
