I am a PhD student in historical musicology. I research and write about late-medieval Italian music, literature, and manuscript culture. As a musicologist, I have extensive experience writing, editing, and proofreading English and am also accustomed to reading academic articles in Italian. I have also studied translation theory and have taken an upper-level university class on translating literature from Italian to English. I currently live in Florence, Italy where I am conducting research for my dissertation and working as a freelance translator. I am detail oriented, reliable, punctual, and professional.
