Bio
A native Uruguayan, I have also lived and studied abroad in the United States and Europe. I have been working as an in-house and freelance translator/interpreter for the past twenty years, specializing in international politics, law, economics, business and finance. Today I am based in the Washington DC metropolitan area working freelance for international organizations, in particular with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). I am currently a translator on the editorial team of ConnectAmericas.com, an IDB non-profit initiative. Previously I worked as an in-house translator at one of Uruguay´s largest and most presigious law firms and for the US Embassies in Montevideo and Buenos Aires. I hold a University Degree in International Relations and I am an associate member of the American Translators Association.
