Bio
I am a professor of French in the Department of Foreign languages,Bangalore India.I have a PhD in French and my topic is a socio-cultural study between India and France.

I get to meet people from different fields, who come in search of learning a Foreign Language. The need could be varied: a job requirement, an assignment abroad, a passion for languages etc.

As a teacher it is my job to see that every student reaches the target he hopes to achieve by learning a foreign language. Hence, I am proud to add the most of my students are doing extremely well as language specialists, translators, interpreters etc in various MNC's, BPO's,Banks etc.

The passion for translation started for me very early when I was asked to translate an Indian classical song into French, for the audience of a music concert I was giving in Ghent, Belgium. I did my schooling in Belgium, in French medium school.

As a freelancer, I have done a variety of translation jobs: from manuals, letters, certificates to a play for All India Radio. Translation is my passion. Teaching French, a profession I chose. So, when you mix the two, you get a translator with a passion for French with a professional touch, who believes :"Communication is a necessity,a language is the medium and the translator is the moderator"

As a teacher of French, I teach the theory of Translation to my MA students. This has helped me persue my passion for translation to a large extent. As a teacher, I make my students translate various kinds of documents:scientific, literary, medical, financial etc. This helps me too, as I am able to provide translation service in various fields.

As a Department of Foreign Languages, we are also approched by many indivduals and corporates to render them translation service (freelancing). Hence, it has helped me evolve as a translator in the long run.

My rates are very competitive and vary from job to job and also on the type of Document.

My motto: A job well done is worth twice the amount it pays!
Keywords: A teacher by profession, a translator by passion. Any field a possibility, literature my speciality; doing a job well a priority.
