YWAM Ratchaburi will be hosting a camping trip for 20 very special Burmese children on the 2nd-4th of April. Most of these children were born in Thailand, but their parents are of Burmese origin and work as construction workers in a housing complex in Ratchaburi. We teach them the Bible and spend time hanging out with them whenever we can. Part of our ministry with them is to help them to feel that they are not any less important than the Thai kids that they see around them every day- and to not be afraid to dream big dreams(or even little ones like having the opportunity to go camping!). We do small things for them that we hope helps them to know that they are not only important, but very, very special in God’s eyes.
We are raising funds to buy tents and sleeping bags for each of the kids- just 1000 Baht will help us to purchase 1 tent and 2 sleeping bags.
If you would like to join us for this trip – we would love to have you!
Anyone interested in donating towards the trip can transfer directly into our bank account – please email us to let us know so that we can make sure the funds go towards the trip.

I'm a NZ citizen but I grew up in Thailand. I've been translating for a few years now, both for business and as a volunteer. I now live in Bangkok with my husband, who also translates Thai, English and Khmer. I'm trying to learn Khmer too, and then maybe I can offer more translation!
