Carolina Mayda is a certified translator and conference interpreter from Córdoba, Argentina. She has been active in her field since completing her studies in 2002 at Cordoba’s National School of Languages. During her five-year undergraduate course, she concentrated on a wide array of subjects, including Linguistics; Culture and Civilization of the English-speaking societies; Legal; Technical; Medical and Literary Translation, and Interpretation.
After her graduation, she specialized in interpretative studies on consecutive and simultaneous interpretation.
Since 2009, Ms. Mayda has served as an official translator and interpreter with various national and international organizations throughout Latin America.
In 2011 she moved to Brazil and in 2017 she completed a postgraduate course on conference interpreting at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, her residence till she moved to Amsterdam, Low Countries, the same year.
Ms. Mayda is an active AIIC pre-candidate, a sworn Spanish<>Portuguese interpreter and a sworn Spanish<>English translator in the Low Countries.
