I earned a PhD from Harvard (1967) in
Germanic Language and Literature and am now
self-employed, after teaching German and
Comparative literature at McMaster
University, Hamilton, Ontario, for thirty-five
years. Modern German and Austrian writers a specialty.

American Literary Translators Association,
Modern Language Association.
Books translated or edited now number seven from various fields,
with two more in the works.
Pricing: my rates vary, depending on the difficulty
and time constraints. In general, copy editing and revising are less than straight translation.
