I am a mechanical engineer and a sworn translator working since 2001. I have been freelance translator since 1996 but been sworn in 2001. Since that time I am working as an engineer and freelance translator.

I worked as a mechanical engineer between 2001-2006 years. Before that when I was a student I have worked with an engineering consultation firm which installs, heating and cooling devices to industry and houses for domestic and industrial uses. At those times I have prepared so many LPG underground and above ground tank system installation projects and also have installed these to the required areas with my installation team. Then when my faculty finished I have started to work for a factory which produces sheet metal cutting and bending machines. At those times I was responsible from foreign trade so I started to make, the control of the translations of the machinery user guides and instructions. Then between 2003 and 2006 years, I worked in ISISAN ISI SAN TİC STI in Kayseri –Turkey, which produces LPG, NG, LNG, and cryogenic tanks and pressurized vessels. During this period, I was again in the foreign trade but I passed inside the factory and learned the details and production of these pressurized vessels.

As these factories were making exports to EU countries and USA, Russia, and some Arabic countries they were making their productions with international standards, such as ASME, ADR, EU standards, so I have made so many translations in order provide the production line obtaining acceptable results.

Then I wanted to work alone and started to make translations as freelance translator for the industry in Kayseri Turkey. During this time I have been certified as LPG Facility Controller Engineer from Chamber of Mechanical Engineers Turkey, then I have taken NG installation certificate (for mech. Engineers), elevators installation certificate, mechanical installation certificate, and fire protection systems installation and project design certificate from the same chamber. These are the key certificates for the engineers in order to make projects in these areas.

Meanwhile I have finished my second university as foreign trade specialist and also I have been working as freelance translator. Then I started to make translations for Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality. A tram way route will be constructed to Kayseri and vehicles and the installation of these will be provided from different companies from Germany, and Italy. In the tender period I have worked with Ansaldobreda company as a Turkish sworn translator then the system has been installed and the training period of the Turkish personal has started I have worked as their interpreter too. In this period I worked with Hegeincheid Company as training translator too.

Now I am still working as a freelance sworn technical translator in Turkey in Kayseri, beside these I am providing engineering controlling services to some firms in the industry
